Why should I care?

Caring about the environment isn't about wearing sandals and hugging trees. It isn't some 'nice' thing that we do because we're a bit soft and a bit bored.

The Earth is where we live and the environment is what's around us.

It is our homes, our gardens, our streets, our parks. It's our workplaces, our wheat-fields, our forests and our seas. It is the sun that shines down on us and the air that we breathe.

If we mess up this place, this planet, if we wreck the environment - our only home - then what?

Caring about the environment is about caring about the place you live in because you care about how you live.
